The journey of a nerd who loves the Lord

Let’s Discuss Story Ideas

Salutations.

As I mentioned earlier, I want to try two short stories using two different approaches.  I have a variety of ideas I could use for material for these exercises.  Here’s a list of my story ideas.  Comment on the ones you like, or feel free to add your own suggestions.

Wildlight
The tale of an emerging superhero, Tammy struggles against her friends, family, society and government as she attempts to find her true place through a long, forgotten faith.

Gabriel’s Light
A new religion sweeps the world in popularity even as a handful of children attempt to tell the world about the dark corruption that drives their unprecedented growth.

Stardusthero
Forced to work with the government because of her emerging powers, Heather (From the comic series, Wildlight) must choose between two masters of the soul before the battle itself consumes her.

Wildlight – Third Dawn
Destined to carry on the mantle of Wildlight from her mother, Lyndsey Hewson finds out that her problems are not solved when she inherits her mothers power suit… they are just beginning.

The Unnamed Hero – Blasted Heat
Laz Phillips (known to only a few as the hero, Kamact),  fights the battle of his life when a villain exploits his weakness to gain the upper hand.

The Party Healer
Set in the fantasy world of Forzega, Elissia shows the party the power of faith in the most dramatic way possible, leading one of the adventuring party members to reconsider the direction of their life’s walk

Daybreak
From the whacked minds of Phil and Laz comes the answer to the popular, book and movie series, Twilight!  Young Samantha finds out the life is not ‘happy ever after’ after she falls in love and marries the worlds most powerful superhero.
